WEST LOOP

Once known as a central trade area for produce, meats, cheeses, oil and flowers, this Chicago market area was known as a warehouse district. The area has undergone increased development in the early 21st Century. Within the traditional business landscape, new concepts make the neighborhood one to visit and live in. On the border of the West Loop is Greek Town, known for the “best” when it comes to Greek food in the city. The neighborhood is now deemed a hip and trendy urban community replete with some of Chicago’s top restaurants (Restaurant Row on Randolph), galleries, businesses and unique housing. Expressways, the Metra train station and The Loop are all easily accessed.
