RIVER NORTH

This trendy neighborhood is bound by Michigan Avenue to the east, Chicago Avenue to the north and the Chicago River to the south and west. River North was known for its high concentration of important art galleries. However, today it is increasingly more technology driven and is famous for its iconic buildings such as the Wrigley Building, Trump Tower, Holy Name Cathedral, Marina Towers, the House of Blues and the Merchandise Mart. The area is populated with fine restaurants, nightclubs, unusual shops and boutiques, and entertainment venues. The area is serviced by four “L” train stations, the Brown and Merchandise Mart Brown stations, and the underground Chicago-Red and Grand-Red subway stations.
